Productivity

Employee productivity tracking that people can trust

Most productivity tools reduce a person to an activity percentage. Employee Desk blends five signals the product already records, shows each one separately, and gives every employee the same view of their own score.

What the score is made of

Productivity score components and weights
ComponentWeightMeasured from
Attendance20Days present against expected working days, after leave and holidays
Punctuality15Check-ins within the grace window of the shift in force
Activity25Active share of desktop-tracked time (skipped if the tracker is not used)
On-time delivery25Tasks due in the period that were completed by their deadline
Work reporting15Days present with a daily work report filed

A component with no data is excluded, not scored as zero. Someone who joined mid-month is only expected from their first day.

Frequently asked questions

How is the productivity score calculated?

It blends five components, each scored 0–100 and weighted: attendance against expected days (20), punctuality (15), active share of tracked time (25), tasks finished by their deadline (25) and days with a work report filed (15). Any component with no data is left out and the weights re-balance, so nobody is penalised for not using the tracker.

Can employees see their own productivity score?

Yes. Each employee has a My Performance page with their score, each component, an eight-week trend and their weekly timesheet.

Is the activity percentage the same as productivity?

No, and the product does not treat it as such. Activity is one of five components, worth a quarter of the score at most.

Can we export the scores?

Yes, as CSV for any date range, with every component shown separately.
