Every screen of Employee Desk, explained
32 screens from a running installation, grouped the way the product is built: employee management, work management and workforce planning, feeding workforce intelligence.
- Real screens, not mock-ups
- Admin, HR and employee views
Start here: the overview
What administrators, HR and employees see when they sign in.
Admin overview
The first screen an administrator sees: who is in today, pending leave requests, active projects and task status, with a 30-day attendance trend underneath.
Workforce intelligence
One read across people, work and planning. Headline numbers compared with the previous period, and insights such as burnout signals, people who have not taken leave, overdue work and projects at risk — each linking to the screen that explains it.
HR overview
HR staff get their own role: employee records, attendance, leave approvals, shifts and holidays, plus their own attendance and leave — without planning or cost data.
Employee dashboard
Each employee’s home: check in and out, live working hours, leave balance, hours this week and their open tasks.
Employee management
The people record: who works here, when they work, and when they are away.
Employee directory
Every employee with department, role, leave balance and accrual, birthday and status. Admins and HR add, edit and deactivate people here.
Employee record
A 360° record per person: 90 days of attendance and punctuality, average hours, open tasks, today’s shift, leave balance, probation and reporting line — with personal, job, payroll and document tabs.
Team attendance
Today’s attendance across the team, or any date range: check-in and check-out, hours, tracked activity and status, exportable to Excel and CSV for payroll.
Shifts & roster
A weekly roster showing who is on which shift. Approved leave, holidays and weekly offs appear in the grid, and a one-day swap sits on top of a longer block without editing it.
Shift templates
Reusable shifts with their own start and end time, grace window, break and working days. Late marking follows whichever shift is in force on the day.
Leave approvals
Pending requests in one queue with type, dates, duration and reason. Approve or reject in a click; balances update automatically.
Holiday calendar
Public, festival and company holidays for the year, shown on every roster and excluded from capacity.
Work management
What the team works on and where the time goes.
Projects
Active, planned and completed projects with client, team, progress and due date. Pipeline projects carry a probability that feeds the forecast.
Project detail
Everything about one project: client, manager, dates, progress, the team and its tasks, plus a project chat and shared documents.
Work reports
What each person worked on, day by day, against a project — the record that makes cost of delivery and client billing possible.
Timesheets
Attendance, desktop-tracked and reported hours side by side for every person and day, with top projects. The days that do not add up are the ones worth a conversation.
Live tracker
Who is working right now, on which device, since when, with today’s active time and activity. Employees see exactly the same data about themselves.
Tracker day view
One person’s tracked days: active and idle time, activity and screenshot count, with check-in, away time and online time for the day.
Screenshot gallery
Captures at a random interval, filterable by person, date and activity level. Employees are notified at every capture and see the same gallery.
Productivity
A transparent score built from attendance, punctuality, activity, on-time delivery and daily reporting — each shown separately, with an eight-week trend.
Workforce planning
Forward-looking: capacity, demand, scheduling, cost and what-if scenarios.
Forecast
Committed and probability-weighted pipeline demand against real capacity, month by month, with the first month that runs short called out.
Capacity
Contracted hours minus leave, holidays, non-billable time and committed work — what is genuinely available, per person.
Project scheduling
Hours per person per project per week, with over-allocation flagged against approved leave, and last week’s plan rolled forward in one action.
Cost of delivery
Reported hours priced at role rates, by project or client, split between billable and internal work — without exposing anyone’s salary.
What-if scenarios
Model a decision before making it: hires, exits, winning or losing a deal, extra demand. The comparison shows capacity added, demand changed and what it costs.
What employees see
Every employee sees their own data — including everything recorded about them.
My attendance
An employee’s own attendance: today’s sessions and lunch, this month’s hours and a calendar of the month.
My leaves
Balance, monthly accrual and every request with its status. Applying takes under a minute.
My shifts
Today’s shift with its grace window, and the next two weeks of roster, holidays and weekly offs.
My performance
The same productivity score the manager sees, with every component and the weekly trend — no hidden scoring.
My tasks
Tasks assigned to the employee across their projects, with deadline, priority, status and progress.
Daily work
A short end-of-day log against a project and task, with hours and progress.
Team chat
Direct messages and group conversations for teams and projects, inside the same system.
