About Employee Desk
We build employee management software in Mohali for growing companies — the size where a spreadsheet has stopped working and an enterprise HRMS is more than anyone wants to implement.
What we build, in one paragraph
Employee Desk keeps the operational record of a workforce in one place: employee records, attendance with shifts and a late policy, leave with balances that accrue on their own, a shared holiday calendar, projects and tasks, daily work reports, and an optional desktop time tracker for Windows · macOS · Ubuntu. Payroll runs from the same record: salary templates, loss of pay from absences, payslip PDFs, loans with EMI and PF/ESI/PT. It runs on our cloud, with an isolated workspace for every organization.
Two decisions that shape the product
Monitoring must be visible to the monitored
Employees see every screenshot taken of their own screen, in the same gallery their manager uses, and are notified at capture. The tray icon cannot be hidden. There is no stealth mode and there will not be one. If a feature request breaks this, the answer is no.

A short list, published because knowing what a product is not is more useful than another feature grid.
- Statutory return filing and income-tax projection. Payroll computes PF, ESI and PT and takes TDS as a monthly figure you enter, but filing returns and Form 16 stay with your accountant.
- Recruitment, appraisals and performance cycles. Entire modules we have chosen not to build.
- GPS and field-staff tracking. If you have drivers or site engineers, Hubstaff does that and we do not.
- App productivity ratings. No application is classified as productive or unproductive.
- Covert monitoring. Not as a setting, not on request. If that is the requirement, we are the wrong vendor.
Where we are going
The plan is unglamorous and specific: win the Mohali market properly, build real references from companies whose names we can use, and expand outward through Chandigarh, Panchkula and Punjab before worrying about anywhere else.
